My name is Vincent Cantin Bellemare, and I hold a degree in programming from the University of Montreal. With over 15 years of experience in backend programming, I have developed strong expertise in web development, DevOps infrastructure, and modern technologies. Based in Montreal, I offer my skills to local and international companies.
I was a consultant for 8 years running my own consulting company, Conception Yapigo Inc., where I had the opportunity to understand the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and develop applications using Django (Python) and React Native.
During this period, I collaborated with renowned clients such as Uniprix and the UQAM. For Uniprix, I worked on the Unisanté services, a system focused on prescription renewals, entirely based on robust backend solutions. For the Université du Québec à Montreal, I developed intranets for researchers, facilitating their data management and internal communication. One of the major projects that marked this period was the creation of a Django admin generator, which significantly strengthened my expertise in Django.
During my entrepreneurial journey, I created a social network called Vibrerlocal.com. Vibrerlocal is a web platform for local co-organization that facilitates meetings, taking action, and creating projects in response to the community's needs. By the way, I invite you to sign up!
Before starting my own company, I began my career (8 years) as a backend programmer at Reptiletech, an agency where I evolved into a full stack developer. This experience allowed me to master the range of technologies required for modern web application development.
After my journey with Yapigo in 2022, I joined the Cyberpublicity team, where I managed advertising campaigns and server infrastructures. We primarily worked with open-source systems, which allowed me to deepen my skills in server management and DevOps.
Outside of work, I am a great enthusiast of outdoor activities. I love road cycling, hiking in the mountains, and cross-country skiing. I'm also passionate about guitar, whether it's playing various styles or composing my own music. Using Ableton Live, I have fun composing and looping tracks. For a small glimpse of my musical creations, feel free to visit our page Canal Machine.
